Efforts to ensure the integrity of the supply chain include continuous inventory monitoring and strict expiration date management. The Supply Chain department tracks losses at distribution centers on a monthly basis, taking proactive measures for items with short shelf lives and improving inventory management. The company has also strengthened its procedures for quality irregularities Drug Supply Chain Integrity HC-DR-250a.1 Description of efforts to reduce the occurrence of compromised drugs within the supply chain and recalls, streamlining the removal of unsuitable products. Receipt at distribution centers is handled through the Scheduling Portal, with advance visibility of volumes and dates, in accordance with the Goods Receiving Policy. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) guide the inspection of products, ensuring compliance with invoices, traceability, and risk mitigation, including specific guidelines for heat-sensitive items. In addition, the DOA Project donates hygiene products with minor defects or that are nearing their expiration date—but are still safe to use—to partner social organizations.
