2030 Commitments

17 - Use at least 40% recycled material in Proprietary Brand packaging by 2030.

In 2023, 3.83% of the weight of all materials used in our packaging will be of recycled origin.

18 - Zero the use of landfills in operations (RD Saúde Campus, Distribution Centers and civil construction).

In 2024, we sent 11,994.46 tons of waste to landfills, 40.6% of the total generated in the year. In addition, we have started a pilot project to map the types and quantities of waste generated in pharmacies, which will allow us to identify the most effective actions to reduce and improve waste disposal.

19 - Collect 3 thousand tons of medicinal waste until 2030 (not including box and leaflet)

We collected 127 tons in the 1st quarter of 2025. Since 2021, we have already collected and properly disposed of 613 tons of medicinal waste.

20 - Reduce absolute GHG emissions (scope 1 and 2) within the level below 1.5 oC, using 2021 as the base year

Compared to 2023, there was a 37.2% reduction in scope 1 and scope 2 emissions. This reduction was mainly due to the actions taken in transport between the Distribution Centers and the Pharmacie, and the increased consumption of energy from renewable sources.

21 - Engage suppliers responsible for emissions from purchased goods and services (category 1) to have science-based targets by 2030

In 2024, we defined a climate engagement plan and carried out a pilot project with six suppliers.

22 - Reach 100% of the operation supplied with renewable energy

Commitment achieved: we reached 100% of our operations supplied with renewable energy.
